V\u00f5su on suvituskohana tuntud peaaegu 150 aastat. Kuurordi arengule andis hoo 1870. aastal avatud Paldiski\u2013Peterburi raudtee. Venemaalt rongiga saabunud suvitajad hakkasid siin j\u00e4rjest enam tooni andma. Ilmselt k\u00f6itis kaugelt tulnud k\u00fclastajaid ka tol ajal puhas mere\u00f5hk, valge rannaliiv ja kaunid m\u00e4nnimetsad. Esimeseks maailmas\u00f5jaks oli V\u00f5sule ehitatud juba \u00fcle 120 suvila, avatud oli Tallinna\u2013V\u00f5su reisilaevaliin. Kui tsaariajal moodustasid suvitajate p\u00f5hikontingendi Peterburi ja Moskva ning saksa aadlikud, siis vabariigi algusaastatel leidis tee V\u00f5sule \u00fcha enam ka siseturist. 1930ndatel, kui p\u00e4rast keerulisi aegu hakkas k\u00fclastajate arv taas t\u00f5usma, avati V\u00f5su ja Tallinna vahel regulaarne bussiliin. V\u00f5su oli saanud \u00fcheks eestlastest puhkajate meelispaigaks. P\u00e4rast teist maailmas\u00f5da loodi riigistatud elamute ja suvilate baasil V\u00f5su Puhkekodu. Suvitajad ja puhkekodu t\u00f6\u00f6tajad majutati \u00f5igusvastaselt v\u00f5\u00f5randatud majadesse, maad jagati tasuta suvilakruntideks. Puhkekodu tegutsemise perioodil v\u00f5is V\u00f5sul suve jooksul puhata \u00fcle 11 000 inimese. K\u00fclastajate tarbeks ehitati metsaklubi, rannaklubi, 250kohaline s\u00f6\u00f6kla ja mitu elamukorpust, osa neist nii arhitektuuriliselt kui ka mastaabilt V\u00f5sule sobimatud. Arhitektuurilooliselt v\u00e4\u00e4rtuslikuks peetakse 1970.\u20131980. aastatel ehitatud silmapaistva kooslusega suvilarajooni. N\u00fc\u00fcdseks on paljud puhkekodu hooned h\u00e4vinenud v\u00f5i lammutatud. V\u00f5su has been a well known holiday destination for almost 150 years. The resort\u2019s development was boosted by the Paldiski to St Petersburg railway which opened in 1870. Holidaymakers who arrived from Russia by train became more and more prominent on the local scene. Features which most probably attracted visitors from afar in those times included the clean sea air, white sands, and gorgeous pinewoods. By the time World War One was triggered, more than 120 holiday homes had been built in V\u00f5su and a cruise line had been established to operate between Tallinn and V\u00f5su. During the tsarist era most holidaymakers were aristocrats from St Petersburg, Moscow, and Germany, but in the early years of the Estonia republic, more and more local tourists found their way to V\u00f5su. In the 1930s when, following difficult times, visitor numbers began to surge anew, a regular bus route was established on the Tallinn-V\u00f5su-Tallinn route. V\u00f5su had become a favourite amongst Estonian holidaymakers. Following the Second World War, V\u00f5su Holiday Home (\u2018V\u00f5su Puhkekodu\u2019 in Estonian) was set up, which included nationalised residences and holiday homes. Holidaymakers and V\u00f5su Holiday Home employees were housed in these nationalised buildings (with the process of nationalisation being questionable to some), and land was divided in holiday home plots which were handed out for free. During the operational years for V\u00f5su Holiday Home, at times more than 11,000 people holidayed in V\u00f5su over the course of one summer. To be able to service all of these holiday home guests, the Forest Club (\u2018Metsaklubi\u2019 in Estonian), the Beach Club (\u2018Rannaklubi\u2019 in Estonian), a cafeteria for 250 hungry holidaymakers, and a number of residential complexes were all built, some of these which were unsuited to V\u00f5su in terms of their architecture and scale. The holiday home district which was established between 1970 and 1980 as a community with quite a unique character is considered to hold great architectural and historical value. By now, many buildings of the former holiday home have been destroyed or torn down. Following Estonia regaining its independence, V\u00f5su Holiday Home\u2019s assets were returned to their former owners or were privatised, marking the beginning of a new era in the story of V\u00f5su as a holiday resort.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

V\u00f5su ist als Erholungsort fast 150 Jahre bekannt gewesen. Die Entwicklung des Kurorts wurde durch die im Jahr 1870 er\u00f6ffnete Bahnlinie Paldiski\u2013St. Petersburg in Schwung gebracht. Die aus Russland mit Zug angekommenen Sommerg\u00e4ste begannen hier immer mehr den Ton anzugeben. Offensichtlich wurden die von weit angekommenen G\u00e4ste auch zu jener Zeit von der reinen Meeresluft, dem wei\u00dfen Strandsand und h\u00fcbschen Kiefernw\u00e4ldern gefesselt. Bis zum ersten Weltkrieg waren in V\u00f5su bereits \u00fcber 120 Sommerh\u00e4user gebaut und es war die Passagierschifflinie Tallinna\u2013V\u00f5su er\u00f6ffnet worden. Wenn in der Zarenzeit die Sommerg\u00e4ste gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils Adlige von St. Petersburg und Moskau sowie deutsche Adlige waren, dann in den Anfangsjahren der Republik hat auch der Innentourist immer \u00f6fter den Weg nach V\u00f5su gefunden. In den 1930er Jahren, als die G\u00e4stezahlen nach schwierigen Zeiten wieder zu steigen begannen, wurde zwischen V\u00f5su und Tallinn eine Buslinie er\u00f6ffnet. V\u00f5su war einer der Lieblingsorte der estnischen Urlaubsg\u00e4ste geworden. Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wurde auf Basis der nationalisierten Wohn- und Sommerh\u00e4user das Erholungsheim V\u00f5su gegr\u00fcndet. Sommerg\u00e4ste und Mitarbeiter des Erholungsheims wurden in den rechtswidrig enteigneten H\u00e4usern untergebracht, Grund und Boden wurde kostenlos in Grundst\u00fccke f\u00fcr Sommerh\u00e4user aufgeteilt. In der T\u00e4tigkeitsperiode des Erholungsheims haben m\u00f6glicherweise in V\u00f5su im Laufe des Sommers \u00fcber 11.000 Menschen Urlaub gemacht. F\u00fcr Besucher wurden Waldclub, Strandclub, Kantine mit 250 Pl\u00e4tzen und mehrere Wohnbl\u00f6cke gebaut, ein Teil von denen sowohl architektonisch als auch von den Dimensionen her f\u00fcr V\u00f5su ungeeignet. Das in den 1970-1980 Jahren gebaute Sommerhausgebiet mit hervorragendem Bestand wird f\u00fcr architekturhistorisch wertvoll gehalten. Bis heute sind viele Geb\u00e4ude des Erholungsheims zerst\u00f6rt oder abgerissen worden. Nach Wiedererlangung der Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit wurden die Verm\u00f6gen des Erholungsheims V\u00f5su an ehemalige Eigent\u00fcmer zur\u00fcckgegeben oder privatisiert und es hat in der Geschichte von V\u00f5su als eines Kurorts ein neues Zeitalter begonnen.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
