Lipum\u00e4gi on V\u00f5su k\u00f5rgeim koht, mida tsaariajal kutsuti Neitsim\u00e4eks. Vahen\u00f5mmeks h\u00fc\u00fctakse rahvasuus aga Lipum\u00e4e k\u00f5rval olevat piirkonda, Pargi t\u00e4navat ja Metsa t\u00e4nava algust. 1924. aastal puhkas siin, nn Vollmanni majas, koos perega A. H. Tammsaare, t\u00f5lkides Dostojevski \u201cKurit\u00f6\u00f6d ja karistust\u201d ja valmistades ette oma varasema loomingu uustr\u00fckke. Tammsaarele meeldis k\u00e4ia hommikuti maja k\u00f5rval turul, kus talumehed otse oma vankritelt talusaadusi m\u00fc\u00fcsid. V\u00f5imalik, et Tammsaare leidis talunikega juttu puhudes ka ainest oma raamatutele. Flag Hill (\u2018Lipum\u00e4gi<\/i>\u2019 in Estonian) is the highest place in V\u00f5su. It was named Virgin Hill (\u2018Neitsim\u00e4gi<\/i>\u2019 in Estonian) during the tsarist era. Vahen\u00f5mme (Estonian for \u2018Interim Heath<\/i>\u2019) is what locals call the area next to Flag Hill, plus the streets of Pargi (\u2018park\u2019<\/i> in Estonian), and the beginning of Metsa (\u2018forest<\/i>\u2019 in Estonian). In 1924 the famous Estonian writer Anton Hansen Tammsaare holidayed here with his family in what was known as Vollmann\u2019s House (\u2018Volmanni maja<\/i>\u2019 in Estonian), translating Dostoevsky\u2019s \u2018Crime and Punishment\u2019<\/i> and preparing his own earlier work for reprint. Tammsaare loved visiting the market next to the house in the morning where farmers sold their produce right off their wagons. It\u2019s quite possible that Tammsaare stumbled upon ideas for his books by chatting with the farmers. At the end of summer he published an article entitled \u2018A late holidaymaker\u2019s letter from V\u00f5su<\/i>\u2019 (\u2018Hiline suvituskiri V\u00f5sult<\/i>\u2019 in Estonian) in which he writes: \u2018The typical holidaymaker is long gone, and yet a person or two still strolls along the sandy beach or in the midst of the pine tree columns where the cowberries shine red. Quiet. But the sea still glistens in sunshine and a tranquil wave laps the streak of sand. This is the normal outlook for the sea in V\u00f5su. She stands in contrast to Toila or Narva-J\u00f5esuu where, more often than not white-tipped and foam-spurting sea eddies stir and roar. The sea at V\u00f5su is a sea for children\u2019.\u00a0<\/span>Starting in 1966 V\u00f5su Hospital, which was founded in 1946 following the establishment of a medical ward, operated at 9 Pargi Street and 11 Pargi Street. Prior to this, medical care was provided by doctors who were holidaying in V\u00f5su or who were operating a private practice. In 1979 the hospital was closed. In 1957, the Forest Club (\u2018Metsaklubi<\/i>\u2019 in Estonia) was erected next to Flag Hill for the purposes of Pargi V\u00f5su Holiday Home (\u2018V\u00f5su Puhkekodu<\/i>\u2019 in Estonian), accommodating 450 guests; the club mostly served as a summertime cinema. Lipum\u00e4gi ist die h\u00f6chste Stelle von V\u00f5su und wurde in der Zarenzeit Neitsim\u00e4gi genannt. Die Gegend neben Lipum\u00e4gi, die Pargi-Stra\u00dfe und der Anfang der Metsa-Stra\u00dfe wird im Volksmund aber Vahen\u00f5mme bezeichnet. Im Jahr 1924 hat A. H. Tammsaare hier im sog. Vollmann-Haus zusammen mit seiner Familie Urlaub gemacht, indem er Dostojewskis \u201eVerbrechen und Strafe\u201c \u00fcbersetzt und Neuauflagen seines fr\u00fcheren Schaffens vorbereitet hat. Tammsaare hat es gefallen, morgens fr\u00fch auf den Markt neben dem Haus zu gehen, wo Bauern direkt auf ihren Wagen Hoferzeugnisse verkauft haben. Kann sein, dass Tammsaare bei Gespr\u00e4chen mit den Bauern auch Materie f\u00fcr seine B\u00fccher gefunden hat. Beim Ablauf des Sommers hat er den Beitrag \u201eEin sp\u00e4ter Urlaubsbrief aus V\u00f5su” ver\u00f6ffentlicht, wo er schreibt: \u201eDer gew\u00f6hnliche Urlaubsgast ist l\u00e4ngst gegangen, trotzdem bewegt sich noch mancher Mensch am sandigen Strand oder zwischen den Kieferns\u00e4ulen, wo Preiselbeeren r\u00f6tlich leuchten. Stille. Aber das Meer glitzert erst in der Sonne und die ruhige Welle schwappt leise an der Strandlinie. So ist gew\u00f6hnlich immer das Meer in V\u00f5su. Es ist das Gegenteil von Toila oder Narva-J\u00f5esuu, wo nur zu oft sich weissk\u00e4mmige und Schaum ausspuckende Meeresmonster bewegen und dr\u00f6hnen. Das Meer von V\u00f5su ist ein Kindermeer.\u201c\u00a0Ab dem Jahr 1966 war auf den Grundst\u00fccken Pargi-Str. 9 und 11 das Krankenhaus V\u00f5su t\u00e4tig, das im Jahr 1946 nach Gr\u00fcndung der Arztstation er\u00f6ffnet wurde. Fr\u00fcher haben hier Urlaub machende \u00c4rzte oder \u00c4rzte mit Privatpraxis medizinische Hilfe geleistet. Im Jahr 1979 wurde das Krankenhaus geschlossen. Im Jahr 1957 wurde neben dem Lipum\u00e4gi f\u00fcr das Erholungsheim V\u00f5su der Club \u201eMetsaklubi\u201c mit 450 Pl\u00e4tzen gebaut, der als der wichtigste Ort des Sommerkinos fungierte. \u201eMetsaklubi\u201c wurde im Jahr 2006 abgerissen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
