V\u00f5su as a beach resort has passed through different eras - the tsarist era, the time of the first republic, the Soviet era and the time of an independent Estonia. Each period has brought along its examples of resort architecture specific to that era, which are a kind of reflection of the vacation customs and traditions of a specific time. Today, many of the buildings have been destroyed or demolished, and the atmosphere of the resort is mainly transmitted only by tsarist and Estonian cottages with verandas and a district of cottages from the Soviet era.<\/p>

The V\u00f5su Nature and Cultural History Trail was completed in 2022, and its purpose is to present V\u00f5su as today's largest and most popular holiday village in L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Virumaa through the architecture, nature, and historical and cultural heritage characteristic of the historic beach resort.<\/p>

The V\u00f5su Nature and Cultural History Trail consists of 23 information boards, which make up a trail of about 7 kilometers.<\/p>
