The main value of the Lahemaa National Park is its great landscape, natural and cultural diversity. This part of the coastal area is rich in peninsulas and bays, the largest being Juminda, P\u00e4rispea, K\u00e4smu and Vergi peninsulas with their northwest-southeast direction. The bays have versatile bottom relief, are generally deep and there are plenty of submerged rocks and islands. The most spectacular terrain feature of Lahemaa is the clint, which separates the coastal lowlands from limestone plains. Typically, the landscape of Lahemaa National Park has numerous large boulders and exceptionally dense piles of stones, which make Lahemaa unique also among other national parks.\u00a0
Forests cover an estimated 34,400 hectares and bogs approximately 3,425 hectares of the Lahemaa. Viru bog, one of the most accessible bogs in Estonia, passes through the forest and bog landscapes characteristic of Lahemaa National Park. The trail is 3.5 km and the lap is 6 km long. The study trail introduces the bog's flora, former sand dunes, eskers, and heath forest. All together, about 120 km of study and hiking trails are built on Lahemaa, reflecting the natural diversity, geological peculiarities and the cultural heritage of Lahemaa National Park (www.loodusegakoos.ee).\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
